monitoring and overseeing approximately 1,000 claim files on an annual basis. Diana brings to her students over 30 years of experience in the field of workers’ compensation including, among other things, developing and managing the self-administration unit of a large permissibly self-insured food manufacturer. Diana has been an instructor with the IEA for over two decades. She is proud to have been involved in developing and teaching the curriculum for one of IEA’s latest designations, the Certified Professional in Fraud Identification. Diana was also involved in developing and teaching the curriculum for the initial CPDM designation, which continues to be a very popular designation for claim handlers.
Mission: Diana enjoys sharing her no-nonsense, common sense strategies and philosophies with her students and enjoys hearing about their continuing growth and accomplishments.
Diana’s experience includes consulting and overseeing claims for permissibly self-insured employers, employers with guaranteed cost, high deductible, and retrospective rating policies. In addition, Diana also has experience consulting and overseeing claims for employers in captive programs, as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution programs. Diana has adjusted, supervised, reviewed and/or audited over 25,000 workers’ compensation claim files of both insured and self-insured employers. Diana also provides both litigation support as well as expert testimony.
