Robert J. Cornelow
Robert J. Cornelow brings over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry to his students, including 20 years as the owner of a multi-line claim investigation firm. He has taught semester-length courses at IEA in the WCCA and WCCP programs since 1991. In addition to teaching for the IEA, Bob is currently self-employed as Cornelow & Associates, providing investigation and consulting services in the fields of risk, disability, and claim management.
Mission: Bob believes that his lengthy experience as an insurance company owner brings an important real world context to his students.
He has developed several seminars in specialized subjects and selected audiences. Subject based seminars include areas of claim compensability, disability, death benefits, and exclusive remedy. Target-based seminars include Workers’ Compensation for physicians and staff, brokers and agents, and the introductory course in Workers’ Compensation for those who have little or no knowledge of the subject.
